The South East Thames Society of Anaesthetists, hereafter known as SETSA, was founded in 1960. Find out more about our history and constitution. Membership of SETSA is free and open to all anaesthetists working in South East England.

The aim of the society is to hold meetings to provide a forum for education and social interaction.
SETSA meetings provide an opportunity for members and trainees to give talks and present posters.
SETSA holds two meetings per year: the spring meeting at a teaching hospital and the autumn meeting at a DGH.
Five CPD points will be awarded for a full day’s attendance at these meetings.
